How to stop the binge effect

bingeWhen you hear the word “binge” I’m sure you have negative emotions. You think of problems like binge eatingย  or biting nails. These are very serious issues that are not easy to overcome. Trust me, I know what I am saying. I used to binge eat. Everytime before I went to a shop I promised myself that I would buy only healthy products. But I broke the moment I stepped into the store. I ate everything I could see, chocolate, cookies, crisps and so on until I felt sick. I started putting on weight and I felt unhappy with myself. But, the most terrible thing was that the more I was guilty and sad the more I was binge eating. It was a vicious circle. I read many books, articles, blog posts and even some youtube tutorials. I was really desperate. Then one day, my cousin said few nice words that she have read in a book: “it takes 21 days to break the habit!” And that was my breaking point. I decided to try it out. I haven’t eaten anything unhealthy for three weeks. This is a doable it’s onle 21 days. It was a success ๐Ÿ™‚ Now, I do not binge eat and even the word itself does not scare me anymore. You want to know why? Because instead of binge eating, now I am binge reading. I read one book after the other and sometimes I even read two or three books at the same time depending on my mood. I moved my relationship with food to books. Now, I feel happy with myself and foremost I feel free. I know that my bingeing is benefitial for me. I broaden my horizons through reading and I believe that I raise the statistics of reading ๐Ÿ™‚

“it takes 21 days to break the habit!”
